Keynote - The Feature No One Knew About in Elixir 1.5
In this Keynote, José will show us a hidden feature in the new Elixir 1.5 update and then discusses how this came about.
He explains Elixir's relation to the Erlang Compiler and the BEAM and how an update to the BEAM was required to make this new feature possible.
José Valim is the creator of the Elixir programming language and the Director of R&D at Plataformatec, a consultancy firm based in Brazil. He is author of Adopting Elixir and Programming Phoenix as well as an active member of the Open Source community.
